🚨 A Warning: My Nightmare with Flipped Lenses & Useless Customer Service
I'm writing this as a warning to anyone considering ordering glasses online. My experience was an absolute nightmare, and I feel compelled to share it. To put it bluntly, this company is full of "Thieves who are incompetent and unable to give you a solid response to simple questions regarding an order. The customer service agents are all useless and always ask for you to get responses in one business day via email. Then the email is an automated response from a computer using a fake name…First they made my glasses with the lenses prescriptions flipped (left on right, right on left) then they couldn't generate the glasses in a timely manner…after weeks of emails and arguing…I opted for a refund, now they're running out of excuses to give me an exact date in which I can get my money back. Stick with your local optician!!" This disastrous process forced me into a lengthy and infuriating conversation with their support team, just trying to get my money back.
Customer: Look, this is the fifth time I've contacted you. You sent me glasses with the wrong prescription—the lenses were flipped! I sent them back weeks ago and now I just want a refund. Where is my money?
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the error with your order and the frustration this has caused. I can see here that your refund request is being processed. Our team will email you with an update within one business day.
Customer: That's what you said last time! That email is just an automated response. I want a real answer and an exact date for my refund. Stop giving me the runaround. Can you give me a date or not?
CS Rep: I understand you want a specific date, but I'm unable to provide one at this moment as it's handled by a different department. I can assure you it has been escalated and I will personally add a note to expedite it.
Customer: Useless. Completely useless. You're just another agent with a fake name reading from a script. Fine, I'm done with this. I'll just dispute the charge with my bank.
